Intro

hey everyone!
I was sitting trying to figure out what was the best way to create a memorabilia type of thing.. Keeping track of quotes that stand out, striking pictures, and catchy lyrics... and I thought this might be a really great way to put my thoughts and opinions out into the internet and get feedback from those who read. Everything on this site is meant to be taken in your own way, its basically an "art gallery", if you will, there is no good or bad art, the only thing that matters is that it affects you in some way or another.

So I guess I'll start out with some lyrics that had me going for days.

Motion City Soundtrack - Hold Me Down
This is one of those songs that like. once you hear it. you just like, don't forget it.
"I love you, however.. you hold me down..
You're the echoes of my everything,
you're the emptiness the whole world sings at night.
You're the laziness of afternoon,
You're the reason why burst and why I bloom..
How will I break the news to you?"

I took this song as the typical 'i dont want to loose you' song, but in this song they skewed the generality a bit. Instead of it being the jealous, angered, and sulky song they changed it into a real-life perception. Someone who wants to be with another, but as the song says "you hold me down", which changes it into a struggle between doing what's best for you, or staying on the same tracks and being with that one person. Great song, I highly recommend listening to it. Please leave any feedback that in anyway relates to what i've said/the song.
